Work package objective: WP11
The aim of this work package is to produce a novel LSD vaccine and test its ability to protect cattle against challenge with LSDV. The key WP output will be a next-generation LSDV vaccine which is specifically designed for use in Europe and neighbouring countries. It will be safe, reliable and enable differentiation between infected and vaccinated animals (DIVA).
