In order to achieve this 11 scientific work packages were structured into three objectives. Objective 1 identified drivers for emergence of ASF and LSD in Europe (WP1-3). Objective 2 studied the fundamental biology of LSD (WP4 and 5). Objective 3 developed new tools for the management of ASF and LSD (WP6-11).
